Product Description

A smooth rich black tea aroma with a full-bodied taste somewhat reminiscent of a piece of hot toast. The complexity of Keemuns is often compared to that of burgundy wines. Produced since the late 1870's, Keemuns quickly became an English staple and were used in English Breakfast tea. Keemun is a congou type of tea which means it requires a great deal of gongfu (disciplined skill) to make it into fine taut strips without breaking the leaves. It is also one of the best keeping black teas.
