Bukhial Assam

Product Description

A very strong black tea aroma and taste. Bukhial Assam has everything an Assam lover would want in a strong (did I say strong?), full-bodied, rich, malty black tea with a lot of black tea astringency. This Second Flush Assam is produced by Bukhial Tea Estate which is owned by the world's largest privately held tea plantation. This has a leaf grade of PF (Pekoe Fannings). It is actually a CTC (Cut, Torn and Curled), instead of an Orthodox (Traditional leafy), type of tea. CTC teas are usually only found in tea bag teas, but this one is an exception. When tea companies around the world decide they want quality (within top 5% of world quality), that price is no object and desire a truly strong malty Assam for a tea bag tea, they opt for Bukhial (PF) and bag it for very special clients including heads of states, chair people of major multinational corporations and embassies. Well, as Bukhial Assam is such an unbelievably strong black tea with maltiness and astringency which is mouth-watering for Assam lovers, why mask the flavor in a tea bag?

Enjoy a strong, yes strong, cup of Bukhial (PF) Assam!
