Legend says the tea maker was robbed of an entire season’s worth of tea he was getting ready to sell at market. That night a dragon appeared in the tea maker’s dream. The dragon had observed what had happened and instructed the man to visit him at a nearby mountain peak the next day. The dragon explained that the man’s path would be lit with dragon fire to provide light and a warm wind to lift him up the mountain. Once the tea maker arrived at the dragon’s cave, the dragon flew the man down to the nearby town. The dragon retrieved the man’s tea. The tea maker blended his recovered tea with red safflower petals to represent the dragon’s fire. His new tea blend was tremendously successfully!
