This lighter bodied oolong, properly named, comes from Taiwan which is known as the “Kingdom of Butterflies”, having over 400 species of butterflies. Butterfly of Taiwan oolong is renowned for its unique, open-leaf, “butterfly” shape. The oxidation is carefully controlled to leave the center of the leaf green while the edges are oxidized. A complex but delicate semi-sweet, honeyed flavor will great your palate.
